Brave Enough Not to Quit: How I Realised My Football Dream is the inspirational story of Millie Farrow, a footballer who has battled major injuries and mental-health problems but remains determined to succeed. Her book presented publishers Pitch with the opportunity of photographing Millie near her home in Southampton for the cover along with a short promotional video.
Olner Pro Sport Media travelled to the south coast and set up our cameras and lights on a college football pitch before meeting Millie to brief her on the shots we were aiming to capture. We came away with strong portraits of Millie with enough video clips to edit together a video, soundtrack and voiceover to promote her book.
